Jan Cosyn

Prof. Dr. Jan Cosyn received his degree in Dentistry at Brussels University in 2000. He specialized in Periodontology and Oral Implantology at the same institution and combined his training with a PhD program. Today Dr. Cosyn is appointed Professor at Ghent University. He is Chairman of the Department of Periodontology and Oral Implantology. Prof. Cosyn was promotor of 10 PhD projects and published over 110 articles in international peer-reviewed journals. He mainly focusses on soft tissue aspects around dental implants and is frequently invited as a speaker at national and international conferences.
