Sven Mühlemann
Sven Mühlemann is a full-time Senior Teaching and Research Assistant at the Clinic of Reconstructive Dentistry at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. He graduated in 2006 as DMD at the Center of Dental Medicine, University of Zurich, Switzerland, and received the “doctor medicinae dentium” (Dr. med. dent.) from the same University in 2008.
After a 3-year period as full-time associate in a private practice in Zurich, he completed a 3-year postgraduate training in Reconstructive Dentistry at the Clinic of Reconstructive Dentistry at the University of Zurich in 2013.
From 2013 to 2014, he was the recipient of an ITI scholarship at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Boston, USA.
In 2014, Dr. Mühlemann received the title of Specialist of Reconstructive Dentistry from the Swiss Society of Reconstructive Dentistry. In 2017, he received the title of Specialist in Oral Implantology.
He is the president from the Swiss Society of Oral Implantology and a board member of the EAO Junior Committee.
His clinical focus is on the treatment of complex and aesthetic cases in reconstructive dentistry including implant dentistry. His major scientific interests include prosthetic procedures and clinical applications of digital technologies in prosthodontics.
